By comparison, the Hayabusa (150 nm) and the Panigale (124 nm) have to make do with significantly less. While your neighbor at the traffic light is still fiddling with the throttle and clutch to get moving, you’ll already be long gone on the Zero. And if you charge it at home with your solar power, the electricity costs are, of course, zero.

A relatively fuel-efficient motorcycle would easily cost more than ten euros for the same distance. Of course, the range depends quite a bit on factors like riding style, type of route (city or highway), and weather conditions. But if you watch your speed a bit, an average range of 200 km is definitely possible. You plug it back into the charger in the evening (just a regular outlet, by the way) and you’re ready to hit the road again the next morning.
